Forum Cycle made the decision to cease posting content on the official Square Enix forums, due to mixed reception from the non-screenshot community there and the bad fit of the platform for large format blog posts. Tumblr was chosen at the time because it was free, had a welcoming FFXIV screenshot community, and allowed for easy content linking to external sites.
Ten cycles have been completed on Tumblr, with the 11th due to end in mid April 2019. This will be the last cycle held on Tumblr, and the cycle format will be renamed to Classic Cycle and resume with Cycle 12.
