Voting was very close this month, with all three entries getting plenty of votes. However, the winner for July 2022 on the theme of “The Reapers” was Forthyn S’yel! Congratulations!

We will be announcing the August theme shortly! (As a reminder, ENTM long form cycles are currently on hiatus until after Patch 6.2.)

The theme for the month of July is going to be The Reapers. When I was in Barcelona, I learned the origin story of the XIV reaper storyline is based on real life events – peasants revolted against invading forces in an event known today as the Reaper’s War.

As always, our challenges are considered open ended, so you don’t have to use the Reaper class itself – or any of the lore, real or in game. Grab this theme, make it your own, and take the best screenshot that you can!

Entries for this challenge will be accepted until Friday, July 22nd at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. To enter, send admin Katarh Mest your screenshot, along with your character name. The prize for the challenge is a small item from the Mogstation, your winning shot on our front page, and the right to choose the theme for the next month.

ENTM contests are open to the general screenshot community. You do not have to have participated in any ENTM contest before. You must, however, be a member of our Discord community to see the winner’s announcement. ENTM monthly contest screenshots must be “vanilla” – no mods, no Reshade, and no post processing allowed. You must include the FFXIV copyright notice on the shot to allow us to post on our website for voting. Please submit one (1) original screenshot for this contest, not used in any other contest before or posted on social media. Also please include the character name for voting. No other restrictions apply beyond these and the challenge theme as described above. Do not taunt happy fun ball.
