ENTM Runway Cycle 2: Grand Finale

Please help me in congratulating the winner of ENTM’s sophomore run of Runway Cycle, and our newest S-Rank Model…

Rymmrael Bhaldraelwyn!

Rymm kept it rael all cycle by executing each challenge while bringing forth classic storytelling to each shot. Rymmrael Bhaldraelwyn’s storytelling is especially apparent during the three weeks of the Zero to Hero Ball where we see her just getting off the boat to begin her journey, her enlistment with the Maelstrom, and then finally our mind can simply imagine her at the helm of her very own ship taking her to a horizon all her own. Her creative use of just the right background really helped to encapsulate the look each shot brought. Rymm brought the essence of our Classic Cycle to Runway, and I could not be more proud.

Our second place victor, Yomu Kazul, really brought a level of vibrancy to their shots that we hadn’t seen in quite some time, even while the backdrop was dark and mysterious. Yomu showed a real knack for creative poses, dramatic backdrops, and a level of humour that I think we can all appreciate. Yomu also earned the community vote for this cycle; this is the winner of the combined votes from community alone, excluding our judges.

Our third place victor, Meztli Kagon, really let her cinematographic prowess flex this cycle with several shots feeling like a movie poster come to life. Our fourth place victor, Yume Aawkot, showed us her eye for creating unique and lively glamours all while capturing just the right pose to compliment them with.

And, of course, our competition wouldn’t have been a full house without our fifth place victors: Alastor Izunia, Aldrid Light, Araatel Doyerii, Djevh’a Kam’lanaut, Khloe Jaab, Kimi Kho, Marcelloix Axios, and Sphinx Apocrypha. You all did wonderfully this cycle, and gave us some of our most favourite shots. It was genuinely a great joy to see you grow with each passing week, and how you responded to feedback. It has been my honour to be your mentor. I thank you so much for being a part of this, and look forward to seeing what you bring in the future.

I want to thank you all for participating in whatever capacity. This cycle our roster included ENTM veterans and newcomers alike. Our cast and judges panel spanned the globe and back. A special thank you to our judges, Katarh Mest, Odharnait “Ona” Greene, Escher Strange, Aelyria Windrunner, and of course our special substitute judge Malkovich Malkovich.

These past few months have been incredible, and I hope you all had as much fun competing, judging, and watching as I have had hosting. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to get to know you all, and sharing in this experience with me. You’re all winners, baby.

October 2020 Voting

It’s the final week of Spooktober, and for the October challenge we asked everyone to get back to basics with “Hey There, Pumpkin.” Pumpkins were not required for this (we would have accepted lattes and Ugh boots as well) but that didn’t stop our contestants for going for the goard.

Please view each of the images blow (click near the top of the picture to embiggen them) and then vote for your favorite!

The winner will be announced by the end of November 1st.

Vote for your favorite in the poll below! If you are having trouble seeing the poll you can also >>>click on this link to open the Google poll directly<<< to vote.

Runway 2 Week 8: Results

The winner of Week 8: Rainbow Connection is none other than our Rainbow of Light…

Yomu Kazul!

Despite hiding his shoulders our technicolour warrior finished up a hero’s journey with this breathtaking take on light overcoming darkness. You impressed our judges with how wonderfully meshed this outfit is, and the helpful offset of white really helps break up how dark the shot would have otherwise been. The use of a simple backdrop with offset lighting really helped to highlight the outfit here which stands out well despite the dark tones. You really told a story here, and harkened back to older generations of RPG’s with this look. You really played with all of the crayons in the box this week. And a few markers as well.

Well, my dears, we have come to the end of our competition. Well, almost. We still have a winner to announce! But who could have possibly won this cycle? In my eyes you’re all winners, because it genuinely takes a level of confidence to sign up and show that you can do your best week after week. I have sincerely enjoyed the journey as much as you all have.

Now then, stay tuned as we crown the winner on Friday, October 30th.

Let the music play!

Runway 2 Week 8: Rainbow Connection

Welcome, welcome, one and all to this, our final week of ENTM’s second run of our Runway Cycle. It has been an incredible journey, and I am so proud of all of our models for their creativity, sportsmanship, receptiveness, and, of course, tenacity. You have all done well over these past seven weeks, and I look forward to what you bring in the time beyond, but for now this is the final curtain.

There have been so many songs about rainbows, and what is on the other side. Our models have already gone somewhere over the rainbow, and we’ve seen their true colours as they took us on a hero’s journey. But rainbows are visions, only illusions, and they’ve nothing to hide. My dears, our technicolour twelve has nothing to hide as the vibrant visions they are. Now, take a wish on the morning star with me, and watch our our models bend light itself to bring Mr. Roy G. Biv to life.

You don’t have to look any further to find the rainbow connection; we’ve got it right here, baby. Now an important note, our models were tasked to represent each of the seven colours of the rainbow in their look. Hair and make-up were optional canvases for helping to complete their look, and fulfill criteria. Now then, get out there and vote, because we can’t do it without the lovers, the dreamers, or you. Vote 1 for your strongest, and 12 for your weakest, and everyone else in between.

And may the best model … win!

Runway 2 Week 7: Results

Our most suitable victor for Week 7: Become What You Must is none other than…

Marcelloix Axios!

Our Elezen-ganza extravaganza really showed us the meaning of true power this week. With great power comes great responsibility, indeed, but one can never deny this level of high glamour. Our judges were taken with your eye for detail on all of the little accents here and there, and how befitting a smart pair of glasses worked here. This outfit formally commands attention, and you most certainly have it.

Oh, my dear models, our Zero to Hero Ball has come to an end. But it was a celebration worthy of a hero’s journey, was it not? And it’s not quite over yet. Stay tuned for next week’s final round of ENTM’s Runway Cycle.

Now then. Let the music play!

Runway 2 Week 7: Zero to Hero Ball: Become What You Must

The Zero to Hero Ball enters it’s final number here at Eorzea’s Neo Talent Management. Our terrific twelve have shown you humble beginnings and new undertakings, but how are our models doing as the true champions of the realm? This week we tasked our Warriors of Light and Darkness to become what they must. To outshine, outlast, and outfabulous one another with high fashion worthy of the burdens they bear. The rules were simple: make it formal, make it couture, and rely only on items of a high level to complete the look.

From humble beginnings to grand adventures our models have grown to become beacons of hope for Eorzea and beyond. Who is your inspiration? Vote 1 for your strongest, and 12 for your weakest, and everyone else in between.

And may the best model … win!

Runway 2 Week 6: Results

Our winner of Week 6: Grand Company, Represent! has us seeing red in a whole new way. Congratulations…

Rymmrael Bhaldraelwyn!

Our Roeg en vogue churned out another victory for herself with this take on Maelstrom pride. Our judges were loving how this outfit came together, noting the silver and steel accents that really helped this shine through. The beret was just the right touch to really top it all off. Well done.

Well, my grand company, Rymm may have snatched victory again this round, but there are still two weeks left of this cycle. The frontline is close, and we’re only now starting to see how your flag waves. Never give up, ’til sea swallows all.

Next week we have an extra special guest judge, two-time S rank model and judge of the premier Runway Cycle Malkovich Malkovich. Please look forward to it! ™

Until next time, let the music play!

Runway 2 Week 6: Zero to Hero Ball: Grand Company, Represent!

Our Zero to Hero Ball continues right here at ENTM’s Runway Cycle. From humble beginnings to taking their next grand steps our Warriors of Light have been invited to represent some good company. Each of our models were to choose a Grand Company to represent, and wear an outfit befitting their allegiance. Whether they fight for coin and country, see that Wood’s will be done, or are in it ‘til sea swallows all, it’s time to show off a little Eorzean Alliance pride. We stood together at Carteneau. Let’s see how our models stand out now.

For whom do you fight for, oh proud Warrior? It’s up to you to tell us which company you keep. Vote 1 for your strongest, and 12 for your weakest, and everyone else in between.

And may the best model … win!

Runway 2 Week 5: Results

Fresh off the boat our winner for Week 5: Pray Return to Your Roots is…

Rymmrael Bhaldraelwyn!

Avast, ye landlubbers, this week our curious corsair sailed straight into the high seas of our hearts. Our judges were taken by your careful use of dyes to elevate this look from ordinary to extraordinary. Your use of blue really made your outfit pop, and your blending of browns complimented the ensemble. Well done.

Now then my sprouts, Rymm may have made this round very rael, but though this was just the Waking Sands you all have the Rising Stones to take on the next challenge. Onward, Eorzea’s champion, onward.

(point to self, nod, pound fist into palm of hand, give thumbs up)

Until next week, let the music play!
