All Stars Round 7: Raidn’ Tombs

Round 7 of course must pay homage to Cycle 7, which itself was a fun set of recycled themes as a bit of a retrospective. Of those, Raidn’ Tombs has been a perennial favorite, in which we ask our models to go into any dungeon and give us their best freestyle shot. For All Stars, we opened this up to any duty that could be accessed via Duty Finder, since there’s a lot of really great locations that aren’t technically dungeons that the models wanted to explore. (Although I think we’re all still too traumatized for anyone to have included Delibrum Reginae yet.)

All Stars Round 6 Winners

Last week we asked our All Stars to push the boundaries of fashion (and good taste) and show themselves rocking a glamour that wouldn’t normally be a staple in a fashionista’s wardrobe. Voting was pretty tight this round, but the top three this week in no particular order were Ninifipsi, Forthyn, and Escher!

One thing all the judges this week seemed to agree is that confidence in their choices played a huge part in making these outfits work. Congratulations to the top three for pulling it off successfully!

All Stars Round 6: Ugly Pretty

Our models know fashion up and down the block, but sometimes the best way to make a statement is to break the rules. This week our models were tasked with making an outfit that is “ugly pretty” and putting together a makeover look that would make most people cringe. Take ugly, but make it “fashion,” to paraphrase the queen Tyra.

Here’s our models showing off their delightfully hideous ensembles. (Please note that Haila has dropped out from active participation and will not be available for voting, but will continue on our back end as a judge.)

All Stars Round 5 Winners!

Our model’s time taking a break at the Gold Saucer has come to a close. I hope they didn’t lose too much money…. (My guess is Escher definitely won more than he lost.)

For this week, in no particular order, the three strongest shots were: Escher, Malkovich, and Elessia!

The All Stars will return to the catwalk in a few days! Stay tuned!

All Stars Round 5: Gold Saucer

For this week, we are paying homage to Cycle 5 with a round in the Gold Saucer. It’s changed a lot since our first round with it as a theme, so we have a much bigger and more beautiful variety of shots for this round than we could have before. We asked the models to show us enjoying the attractions – with no other restrictions, so this was a wide open scenic shot.

All Stars Round Four Winners

Round Four was full of monsters and a whole lot of the magic of cinema to make things look interesting. Hopefully everyone successfully defeated their foes despite any setbacks. The top three shots for technical battle prowess and mastery of sticker mode this week were, in no particular order: Rymm, Elessia, and Aelyria!

February Challenge

For the month of February, what else could the challenge be about but love? However, instead of romantic dates and cupid’s arrows, Forthyn is asking for a different kind of love:

“Agape (Love)” – The highest form of love: selfless, sacrificial, true unconditional love; persists no matter the circumstance. Show your purest form of love the best way you know how: towards others, your companions or significant other, or even yourself.

So go out there and show some love and kindness to the world, and take a picture of it to share with the rest of us! Entries for the February Challenge will be accepted until Friday February 19th, 10:59 PM EST. (Look, I’m old, I go to bed by 11 these days.) Send it to Katarh Mest on Discord in a DM.

ENTM contests are open to the general screenshot community. You do not have to have participated in any ENTM contest before. All Stars Round Four: FATE

For Round 4 of our inaugural All Stars cycle, we paid homage to Cycle 4 and sent our models out to do a technically challenging battle shot. This shot had to be taken with them fighting or visibly engaged with any FATE boss or other monster, with the addition of the new Gpose sticker mode “FATE Joined” label slapped on it, in case it wasn’t obvious what they were doing.

Getting a good battle shot is always rough, but doing so in a FATE made things twice as hard…. this round involved a lot of photography tricks, extras helping to tank things, waiting for the stupid FATE to pop, waiting for the right weather, and in my case, getting my fishing trip interrupted.

Enjoy the fruits of our labors, and then give your rankings in the Google poll at the bottom of the page! To view an image in a larger size, click on the middle. Use the back button on your browser to return to this page. Voting will be open until Tuesday, Feb 2nd at 11:59 PM EST.

January Challenge Winner

For January we sent everyone out to find some dragons and show some appreciation, dangit. We had almost 30 votes total, which is great, because it allows us to see when there is a clear winner! And the winner this month was very clearly Forthyn S’yel, who shared this tender moment with Rathalos, and will be choosing our theme for the month of February.

Congratulations!

All Stars Round 3 Winners!

The hard earned time off is over because our next round is a technical doozy, but in the meantime, these are the top three models (in no particular order) whose hobbies enthralled us and made us feel the most cozy with that Echo filter.

Congratulations to Ninifipsi, Yomu, and Elessia, for showing us that whether it’s cluttered or tidy, creative or restful, home is the best place to relax for the weekend.
