All Stars Round 3: Relaxation Time

In honor of Cycle 3, which had a nice relaxing theme that asked our models to show off their free time hobbies when not saving the world or being a world class model, we brought back Relaxation Time for the Round 3 challenge. The twist for this post Gpose cycle was to use the Echo filter to “add that old timey feel.” So without further ado, here are the All Stars models taking a break and showing us how they spend their down time.

All Stars Round 2 Results!

Our 14 intrepid models took us on a three hour tour of some really neat wrecks. There was a lot of arguments about who had the most spectacular crashes (and who had the most premium deserted island to boot) but in the end three shots emerged on top for this extremely good, extremely scenic round.

Congratulations to our shipwrecked ALL MALE models in the top three, for ~~showing us your abs~~ I mean showing us some fantastic destruction of property: Forthyn, Malkovich, and Yomu!

All Stars Round 2: Shipwrecked

Welcome back everyone to another week of our first ever All Stars Cycle! For Week 2, we took our inspiration from Cycle 2 and stranded our models someplace. Unlike Cycle 2, which was still limited by no Gpose and only a handful of potential locations, our models and self-judges were allowed to run wild with this idea and interpret it however they chose.

All Stars Round 1 Results

Hello my lovelies, it’s time to reveal who the top three vote getters were for our first round! With the judges all ranking themselves, we’ve definitely got some professional opinions about How To Slay Your Ice Queen for this round.

Since All Stars is a little bit different, our winners each week are a little bit different. The top three for Round 1, in no particular order, were Yomu, Aelyria, and Odharnait! Looks like fashion was the royal pedigree everyone was looking for this week.

All Stars Round 1: Ice Queens

It has begun, our very first All Stars Cycle! In honor of Forum Cycle 1 all those years ago, the first round is named Ice Queens and our models have been asked to take a shot in Shiva’s arena. Any of Shiva’s arenas. There sure are a lot of Shiva’s arenas these days, no? Specifically, we added Eden 8 as a valid location for this round, or models could take a shot in unsynced Shiva HM or Shiva Ex, or in Faux Hollows Shiva if they felt like being a masochist.

Free style, so they were allowed to play with this idea however they wanted!

ENTM All Stars Cycle: Meet The Cast – And Judges!

All Stars cycle has been in the works for several years. After Rongi Pongi retired from ENTM, I decided not to let the idea die and developed it further. After another year or so of delays (woo 2020), the time was right and we have finally put together two glorious months of screenshots from the best of the best from ENTM.

All participants either won top three of a cycle, or won another contest from ENTM such as the Yearly Challenge, or won the fan bring back contest during an elimination cycle. Each model on this star studded list has proven their ENTM chops once already, and now they will fight for the title of the All Star Champion. A few faces have changed, and a name tweaked here and there, but we’ve got talent going back to some of our earliest forum based cycles represented.

For All Stars, the models are the judges and will be judging themselves using a secret ballot. They cannot rank their own shot, but will be asked to rank everyone else every week. 14 models, 14 judges! This will be quite different and it’s going to break my score sheet but ENTM is all about the spirit of experimentation.

The community will be tasked with putting in their votes as usual – but the tables have turned, and now the critiques are all OPEN FORUM on our Discord channel. Please be honest but be kind and give our models your very best in feedback for each of their shots. This channel will be moderated so be constructive! Models are allowed to critique each other as well, but it’s not required, so any and all feedback you can give for your favorite models each week will be appreciated.

The first round will start on January 8th!

2020 Challenge Winner

It’s time to crown a very special model – our annual challenge winner. With four wins during the challenges of 2020, Elessia Sedai is the 2020 Challenge Winner. She joins Odharnait Greene, the 2018 champion. (2019 ended up with a six way tie so no champion was crowned.)

January 2021 Challenge

New year, new challenge! The theme for the month of January is Appreciate a Dragon. Find a dragon NPC in Coerthas and pose with it! Or hang out with your favorite dragon minion or mount in the rest of the world. No matter how you do it, you must have a dragon in your shot.

Entries will be accepted until January 22nd 2021 at 11:59 EST. To enter, send your shot along with your character name to Admin Katarh Mest on the ENTM Discord Server. The winner will receive a minion or other item of similar value from the Mogstation, win the banner on the ENTM home page for the next month, and also get to choose the next month’s theme!

ENTM contests are open to the general screenshot community. You do not have to have participated in any ENTM contest before. You must, however, be a member of our Discord community to see the winner’s announcement. ENTM monthly contest screenshots must be “vanilla” – no mods, no Reshade, and no post processing allowed. You must include the FFXIV copyright notice on the shot to allow us to post on our website for voting. Please submit one (1) original screenshot for this contest, not used in any other contest before or posted on social media. Also please include the character name for voting. No other restrictions apply beyond these and the challenge theme as described above. Do not taunt happy fun ball.
